for 14 to 18 year olds in South Gloucestershire South Gloucestershire Council have £1.2 million to spend on transport, and we asked young people how they want it spent. Our survey of young people in the area told us that:  •  Most young people take the bus about once a week, often to go shopping  •  Young people use buses mostly at the weekends  •  Fares are too expensive  •  Young people are usually taken in a car to evening activities. From our survey, we have come up with three schemes that would make transport cheaper for you. We need you to tell us which one you would prefer.   Vote for 1 of these options   Option A - Unlimited travel evenings and weekends for a monthly fee of £20 to £30 Option B - Half adult fare on all evening, weekend and holiday journeys. Likely to cost about £1 to £2 per journey Option C - Flat fare scheme for evenings, weekends and schoolholidays. South Glos will be divided into an urban zone and a rural zone.
