Terms and Conditions 1. The competition is only eligible to residents of South Gloucestershire. 2. Employees of the waste management department, Councillors, or their family members, South Gloucestershire Council, Waste Minimisation team of SITA South Gloucestershire and anybody associated with the campaign will not be eligible to enter the competition. 3. Any household may enter one recipe into the adult competition and one recipe in the children’s competition. 4. There will be one first prize and four runner up prizes for the children’s competition. Children from age five to twelve years can enter the competition. |
5. The winners of the first prize will be chosen from the best leftovers recipe. 6. All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash alternative is available. 7. Entries must be returned by Friday 29th July 2011 to the FREEPOST address below. 8. Winners will be informed by Friday 12th August. A list of winners will be published on the South Glos Council website from Monday 15th August. 9. By entering this competition all contestants agree to be used in publicity. If an entrant is under 16, permission will be obtained from the parent/guardian. |
10. South Gloucestershire Council reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if they have reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the rules. 11. In the event that any winner is disqualified from the Competition a replacement will be selected. In this event, any further winner will be selected on the same criteria as the original winner and will be subject to these Rules. 12. The winners and runner-up recipes will be published in a LFHW recipe book to be produced by SITA and South Glos Council that will be sent at no charge to each winning participant. The book will be available to residents of South Gloucestershire and the general public. |
Any personal information supplied will be held by South Gloucestershire Council and SITA in accordance with the Data Protection Act. This information will only be used for the purposes of the competition and to inform of future campaigns with waste and will not be passed on to any other organisation. |
