Extra Capacity Black Bin Assessment

By filling in this extra capacity application form, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions detailed below.  The survey should also help you to think about the waste your household produces. This may help you to take measures to recycle more and reduce the amount of non-recyclable waste.

Based on an audit of black bin waste in South Gloucestershire bin in 2015, 52% of the average household refuse waste could be recycled through the normal kerbside recycling collections.

Terms and conditions:

You must use the full range of kerbside recycling facilities available

This service will be provided free of charge until January 2017. From this date there may be an annual administration charge for this service

We may conduct an audit of the waste and recycling presented by your household on any collection day. We will contact you with our findings

If recyclable items are found in your black bins, we will give you 14 days to rectify the situation. If you continue to put recyclable items in your black bins, we may remove the extra bin and you may no longer be eligible for this service. No refund will be given

Your extra black bin requirement will be reviewed every 12 months
