?

Q8
Please make any comments or suggestions about the proposed measures and actions
Risk from flooding can be managed in different ways. For instance, by avoiding living in areas at risk of flooding or adapting how people live in these areas by improving flood warning and forecasting and helping communities prepare for flooding if and when it does happen. Building flood defence can reduce the damage to properties prone to flooding and learning from flood events can help improve how situations are dealt with in the future. The draft strategy proposes new measures to manage flood risk alongside those already agreed and ongoing.
Q9
Across all the proposed, agreed and ongoing measures, do you think the draft strategy has the right balance between prevention, preparation, protection, recovery and review?
Yes
No
If no, please explain further?
Q10
Are there any other measures that you think should be included? If so please explain what they are and why they should be included? Please say who should be responsible for these measures?
Q11
How could you support the work set out in the draft flood risk management plan to reduce flood risk?
Q12
How strongly do you agree or disagree with the proposed funding approach?
